Revision uncoated hip femur prosthesis

Device Category Dossier for Revision uncoated hip femur prosthesis. Australian ARTG records, sponsors, device class — compiled by arcimedes.

Femoral revision stems are prosthetic components indicated for revision surgery of the femur following failure of primary prosthesis, typically when proximal bone loss, medullary canal enlargement and cortical bone thinning are present. These devices are used clinically in revision arthroplasty after prosthetic failure, sub-prosthetic or periprosthetic fracture, and femoral reconstruction following fractures, osteotomies or significant bone loss in the proximal femur.
