Intended purpose

The non-active, surgically invasive implantable Endo-Model Knee System is intended for long-term replacement of a diseased and / or defective knee joint in the human body. The Endo-Model Knee System forms a total replacement of the knee joint. The Endo-Model Knee System can be used with full-grown, anesthetized patients of any ethnic origin and sex. The Endo-Model Knee System is implanted with or without cement related to the selected implant version.

Functional description

Endo-Model Rotating Hinge Knee joint with LINK PorEx (TiNbN) coating, consists of femoral component, tibial component, UHMWPE plateau with fixation screw, bearings and cross joint [consisting of bushing, T-axis, axis and cam on the tibia]. Two different types of movement are possible. The flexion movement because the T-axis can move around the axis in the transverse plane, and a ROM from -2° up to 142°. The rotation (vertical plane) movement because of the bushing and the cam on the tibia.
