Intended purpose
The Tigertriever 13 is designed for use in flow restoration of patients with ischemic stroke due to large intracranial vessel occlusion. Patients who are ineligible for intravenous tissue plasminogen activator (IV t-PA) or who fail IV t-PA therapy are candidates for treatment. The Tigertriever 13 is also designed for use in flow restoration of patients with ischemic stroke due to distal vessel occlusions with a diameter of 1mm to 2mm.
Functional description
Tigertriever 13 is comprised of a collapsible, fully retrievable, fine wire construction mounted on a wire shaft that expands to comply with the vessel diameter. Device is delivered through an intracranial microcatheter.
