EXACTA PLUS Femoral Stem - Cemented - Uncoated femoral stem prosthesis, one-piece

Intended purpose

The EXACTA PLUS cemented femoral stem is a straight femoral stem intended for use in total or partial Hip Replacement procedures, combined with a femoral ball head (or a bi-articular head) and an acetabular cup. For primary hip replacement in cases where cortical bone structure is not suitable to guarantee a correct and enduring mechanical fixation by means of press-fit technique therefore requiring cementing fixation. After a proper surgeon’s evaluation, the stem may be used as a revision stem in cases that present limited bone loss.

For cemented fixation.Self-centering shape.Polished surface and smooth edges to avoid transfer of micromovements to cement/bone interface.Reduced neck diameter for wide range of movement,avoids impingement on cup inner edge. Standard and Lateralized versions for fitting to a range of anatomical conditions.Hole at top for insertion of stem introducer for correct alignment/positioning.A threaded hole allows use of Stem Holder.Niche on medial region of stem neck for housing of punch for stemremoval
