Coronary balloon dilatation catheters are devices used for the dilatation of stenotic portions of coronary arteries or bypass graft stenosis and for post-delivery expansion of balloon expandable stents. These catheters are used in patients evidencing coronary ischaemia for the purpose of improving myocardial perfusion.
