Arm rehabilitation system

Device Category Dossier for Arm rehabilitation system. Australian ARTG records, sponsors, device class — compiled by arcimedes.

Arm rehabilitation systems are neuromotor rehabilitation devices for the upper limb that employ mechanisms such as cable-driven systems with parallel linkage structures or actuated gloves to mobilise finger and arm joints through passive, active-assisted, or active exercise modes. These devices are used to enable individuals with upper limb impairments—including elderly patients or those requiring sensorimotor training—to improve muscle strength, range of motion, motor coordination, and activities of daily living.
