Femoral head/stem prosthesis adaptor

Femoral neck prosthesis adaptors are total hip system components intended to replace the anatomic femoral neck by mating with prosthetic femoral head and modular femoral stem components. They are used in total hip arthroplasty for reduction or relief of pain and improved hip function in skeletally mature patients with non-inflammatory degenerative joint disease such as osteoarthritis, femoral neck fracture, or revision procedures where other treatments or devices have failed.
