Orthopaedic prosthesis implantation instruments are hand-held surgical instruments intended for use during implantation of an orthopaedic prosthesis, either manually or as computer-assisted surgery devices, to aid in the navigation and placement of the prosthesis or other instruments. These instruments are used during orthopaedic surgery to hold, align, fix or guide other instruments and prostheses, provide position landmarks, ascertain correct spatial orientation or limb alignment, or serve as an interface between prosthesis components.
