Device Category Dossier for Spinal cage. Australian ARTG records, sponsors, device class — compiled by arcimedes.

Spinal cages are implanted devices designed to restore intervertebral or vertebral body height, provide structural support and spinal alignment, and facilitate bone fusion in the cervical, thoracic or lumbar spine following discectomy or corpectomy. They are used clinically to treat degenerative disc disease, spinal instability, spondylolisthesis, and vertebral body collapse or damage from trauma or tumour, either as stand-alone devices or in conjunction with supplemental fixation systems.
