Trocar sleeve seals/port reducers are instrument introduction devices that provide a channel for insertion and exchange of endoscopic instruments of different diameters whilst sealing the trocar sleeve assembly to inhibit leakage of insufflation media such as carbon dioxide gas. These devices are used during laparoscopic procedures to maintain pneumoperitoneum whilst allowing alternating access for different instruments through the trocar sleeve.
